TERM 2 PASSION PROJECT PROPOSAL

This term you have about 7 weeks to complete your project.  
Fill out the following questions for your proposal, your teacher will
comment to give you approval.

My Passion Project title is…  

How to make a bike ramp that will keep us up longer and up higher?

What are my big questions to guide my learning?
How to measure wood accurately?
How to cut curved lines in wood?
What different parts are used to make a ramp?
How to construct a ramp?
Ways to carry and move the ramp around?
What curve angles are going to give the best height?
How high can I make it?

Don't stop when you make a mistake because there is always a way to fix it up.

I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?)

Because I won’t to see how high we can make a bike ramp.

Because I want to see how long we wall be in the air Thor.

Because I want to see if I can jump one ramp and land on another ramp.

What are some possible ways I could share my learning?  Choose 3 possible ways.

1) Put the work you made on youtube .

2)talk about it on stage.

3)do it on the street so people can see what you are doing.

What problems do I foresee occurring during this project and what will I do to solve them?
It might break when we try to go on it.
Loose nails and they may give the tyre puncture
Hit your finger with the hammer
Run out of nails and wood
Not cutting the wood correctly
The ramp tipping
